(5) Install the new gasket and adapter (17) on the cylinder block with three washers and 3S127 Bolts. Install gasket (18), 5S4118 Bonnet (19), gasket (20), core (21), gasket (22) and 5S4296 Bonnet (23) on adapter (17) and bracket (15) as shown. Tighten bolts (16). (6) Install original clamps (4), new hose (24), tube (25) and gasket (26). Fasten tube (25) to bonnet (23) with bolts (27), washers and nuts. (7) Remove plug (28) and the bushing from the water pump inlet pipe. Install a new bushing and 5K9243 Elbow in the pipe. Install 6L3616 Connector (29) in bonnet (19). Make and install tube (30) and the two nuts. Fasten tube (30) to bracket (15) with clip (31), the grommet, bolt, washer and nut. Fasten tube (30) to the cylinder block with clip (32), the grommet, bolt and washer. (8) On tractors with a ROPS cab, tilt the cab as shown in Special Instruction Form SMHS6897. On tractors without a cab, remove floorplates (33). On all tractors, remove hydraulic pump (34). Remove cover (35) from the power takeoff housing. (9) Install the gasket and adapter (36). On tractors with a Vickers hydraulic pump, remove hose assembly (37) to the dozer control valve. On all tractors, install the seals, connector (38) and elbows (39) and (40) on the pump. Install the coupling, seal and pump (41). (10) On tractors with a Vickers hydraulic pump, remove stem assembly (42) and sleeves (43) from hose assembly (37). Install stem assembly (42), sleeves (43) and new 3S8568 Stem Assembly (44) on 37.8" (960) of new 5P182 Hose (45) as shown. Install the seal and connect stem assembly (44) of the hose assembly to the pump manifold. Do not connect the other end to the dozer control valve at this time. (11) Remove hydraulic tank (46) from the tractor. Be sure to put identification on all hoses and fittings as necessary before any hoses are disconnected. Remove angle assembly (47). (12) Remove cover assembly (48) from the tank. Cut a 2.17" Ø (55.0 Ø) hole (B) in the tank at the location shown. Weld tube assembly (49) to the tank in the position shown with a .20" (5.0) fillet weld all around at location (C). Remove all weld slag and dirt from the tank. Install cover assembly (48) on the tank. (13) Cut angle assembly (47) as shown. Install the hydraulic tank on the tractor. Fasten angle assembly (47) to the opposite side of tank bracket (50) as shown. (14) Install the seal and 329267 Elbow (51) on the tank. Put the seal and block (52) in position on manifold (53) and connect hose (54), from the ripper, to block (52) with four new washers and bolts. Install 307944 Fitting (55) in block (52). Connect the remainder of the hydraulic hoses. (15) Assemble the pump suction line with 69.7" (1770) of 5P182 Hose (56), two 2P988 Coupling Assemblies (57) and two 3S7116 Sleeves (58).
