2. Plate. E. View from end after bending.* Make a bend and fold at location (D). Bend plate (2) prior to drilling the 16 mm (0.6") Ø hole for headlight mounting.
3. Support - Two Required.* Make from 6 mm (.24") thick stock and 950773 Nut (7).* Weld on three sides of nut (7). Drill the 15 mm (0.6") Ø hole prior to welding nut (7) in place.
4. Support - Two Required.* Make from 40 mm (1.6") X 40 mm (1.6") X 3 mm (0.1") thick right angle stock.
5. Support.* Make from 30 mm (1.18") X 30 mm (1.18") X 3 mm (0.1") thick right angle stock and two 950773 Nuts (7). Locate and drill the two 15 mm (0.6") Ø holes before welding two nuts (7) in place.Weld nuts from F to G and H to J with a 3 mm (0.1") fillet weld.Necessary Parts
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the factory installed batteries.2. Remove the battery box from the swing frame. 3. Cutout tool compartment wall at locations A, down flush with the bottom plate. 4. Cutout bottom plate (1) of tool compartment.
Front end of Swing Frame.5. Remove the battery relay from the swing frame.6. Cutout a corner of the swing frame according to the dimensions shown.7. Drill and tap an M8 X 1.25 mm (0.049") hole according to the dimensions shown.
View from bottom side8. Drill two 15 mm (0.6") Ø holes according to the dimensions shown.9. On bottom side of swing frame floor align two 950773 Nuts (7) with 15 mm (0.6") holes and weld in place. 10. Locate two supports (3) on swing frame floor at locations shown. Weld four locations (B) with a 4 mm (0.16") fillet weld.11. Locate support (5) on swing frame floor. Weld three locations (C) with 3 mm (0.1") fillet welds. 12. Locate Plate (1) as shown. Weld in place at two locations (E) with 1.6 mm (0.06") fillet welds 20 mm (0.8") long spaced 50 mm (2.0") apart. Weld location (F) with 1.6 mm (0.06") fillet welds 20 mm (0.8") long spaced 50 mm (2.0") apart. 13. Locate Plate (2) as shown. Weld in place at three locations (G) with 1.6 mm (0.06") fillet welds 20 mm (0.8") long spaced 50 mm (2.0") apart.14. Replace the battery box on the swing frame.15. Locate the center for the bolt that mounted the box at location H.16. Remove the box and drill a Ø 15 mm (0.6") hole on bolt center.17. Weld a 950773 Nut (7) at location (H) [Inside the battery box]. 18. Install battery relay at location (J). The battery relay is now mounted on the opposite side of the swing frame rib as previously mounted.19. Install the battery box on the swing frame. Bolt in place with original equipment.20. Install 855926 Cover (6) with four 994324 Bolts (8) and four 950817 Spring Washers (9).21. Install two Caterpillar 9G4232 Batteries (11). Clamp in place with two 855925 Bolts (10), two supports (4), original spacers and spring washers.E180 (1RF00101-148), EL 180 (4EF00171-342),
