Canopy Installation
1 Install a bushing (1) into each of the two front pads (2), and into each of the two rear legs as shown. Install the rear pads (3) to each of the rear legs with a bolt (4), two washers and a locknut.
Be sure the rear legs are in the center of pads (3) and that there is clearance at points (A).
2 Install front pads (2) into each of the front legs with a bolt (5), two washers and a locknut. Install the four grab irons (6) to the canopy. Lower the canopy onto the machine. Tighten the mounting bolts (7) to a torque of 900 100 lb. ft. (124.5 13.8 mkg) (1224.0 136.0 Nm).Cab Installation
1 Remove protection tape from the air cleaner pipe, exhaust pipe, fuel priming pump, oil filter, dipstick, wires and hoses, etc. Remove the steel bands and wood protection from dash panel (1), the batteries and across the fenders. Remove any extra groups shipped with the machine [Tool Pack (A) shown]. Remove hood shroud (2), muffler (3), air cleaner (4), battery box (5) and control levers (6). Use wire and fasten dash panel (1) to the top of the hood. Install the muffler and air cleaner. 2 Remove all of the wires used to hold the control rods. IMPORTANT: Remove hose clamp (7) used to hold the parking brake in the ON position. 3 Remove protection tape from the hose ends and lamps. Remove all of the cab mounting bolts and strips (8). Lower the cab onto the machine. CAUTION: Be very careful not to damage the batteries while lowering the cab. Install and tighten all of the mounting bolts to a torque of 900 100 lb. ft. (124.5 13.8 mkg) (1224.0 136.0 Nm). 4 Install hydraulic control levers (6) [removed on page 3]. Connect battery cables (9) to the disconnect switch. Connect parking brake rod (10) to lever (11). Connect lever assembly (12) to the transmission control lever with two bolts. 5 On direct drive machines, connect battery cables (13) to the disconnect switch. Connect parking brake rod (14) to lever (15). Connect transmission control lever (16) to extension (17). Install flywheel clutch control lever (18) to the shaft. Connect forward-reverse lever (19) to lever assembly (20). Install the boots and handles [not shown] to the levers. 6 Close access door (B) and install the battery cover. Remove the wire used to fasten dash panel (1) to the hood and install the panel to the cab as shown. Fasten end (C) on the throttle linkage to lever (D). 7 Install hood shroud (2). Connect electrical plug (E) to the cab as shown. Install the two steering clutch control rods (F) to levers (G). Install the two brake control rods (H) to levers (J). 8 Remove protective plugs (K) from the upper air conditioning hoses. Remove protective caps (L) from the lower hoses. Install plugs (K) into caps (L). Install the caps and
