Information:

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects all of the following conditions:
The ECM has been powered for at least 3 seconds.
A signal voltage for the throttle position is below the diagnostic lower limit that is set for the application.
The power supply for the throttle sensor is within the expected range.System Response:A warning will appear on the display on the control panel. The ECM logs the diagnostic code if the engine is running. The diagnostic codes can be viewed on the electronic service tool. The ECM will return the engine to low idle.Possible Performance Effect:Throttle inputs are ignored by the ECM until the fault is repaired.Throttle inputs will also be ignored by the ECM until the keyswitch has been turned to the OFF position and then back to the ON position.The engine will default to the limp home mode.Troubleshooting:The signal voltage from the throttle position sensor is too low.Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: "Digital Throttle Position Sensor Circuit - Test"Results:
