Procedure To Install The New Brackets
1. Unlatch the rear fenders and remove the former support brackets. See Illustration 1.
Illustration 1. Location of new support brackets and latch bumpers.2. Refer to Illustration 2 and weld the new tapped block to the right front edge of the mounting pedestal for the hydraulic tank.3. Fasten the new bracket with two bolts as shown in Illustration 3.
Illustration 2. Right side view of location for the tapped block.4. To install the third bolt, use the remaining third hole in the bracket to locate and drill a hole in the vertical panel between the bracket and the pedestal mounting for the hydraulic tank.
Illustration 3. Location of new bracket and bumper.5. Drill a 5.5 mm (.22") hole through the rear flange of the front portion of the fender. This hole is 30 mm (1.18") below the top of the fender, and located 100 mm (3.94") in from the outside edge of the fender. See Illustration 3.6. Install the new bumper, nut, and washer in this hole.7. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for the left side of the machine.
