Start By: a. remove floor plate Put identification as to the location of all parts for correct installation. 1. Remove two bolts and cover (1). 2. Remove three bolts (3) from the top of the dash and four bolts (4) from the sides of the dash. Pull dash (5) and instrument panel (2) forward away from the firewall. 3. Make an identification of the location of foot pedal (7) for assembly purposes.4. Loosen bolts (5) and (8).5. Remove lever (6) and foot pedal (7). 6. Remove four bolts (9) and move throttle housing (10) forward. 7. Remove cotter pin (12) and pin (11) from the linkage.8. Remove the throttle housing. 9. Remove four bolts (14). Remove detent mechanism (13).10. Remove key (15) from the shaft of the detent mechanism. 11. Remove plate (16), shaft assembly (17), spring (18), rollers (19), springs (20) and plate assembly (21) from the detent housing. 12. Use tooling (A) to remove bearing (22) from the detent housing. 13. Loosen bolt (24). Slide shaft (25) to the right.14. Remove the key from shaft (25). Remove shaft (25) and lever (23) from the housing. 15. Remove spring (28).16. Remove two bolts (27) and retainer (26) from the housing. 17. Remove snap ring (29) from the shaft with tooling (B). 18. Loosen bolt (30) and slide shaft (31) to the right. 19. Remove key (33) from the shaft.20. Remove the shaft and lever (32). 21. Remove bearings (36) and (35) from housing (34) with tooling (A). 22. Remove bearing (38) from the housing with tooling (A).23. Remove lip type seal (37) from the housing with tooling (A). 24. Disconnect linkages (39) and (40) from the levers. 25. Remove three bolts (41) and bracket (42). 26. Remove levers (44) and (45) from shaft (43). Remove the keys from the shaft. Remove washers (46) from shaft (43).27. Remove shaft (43) from the bracket. 28. Remove bearing (47) from the bracket with tooling (A).Install Governor And Decelerator Group
