Remove two bolts (24), the washers, and bearing cap (25).

Use Tooling (F) and a suitable lifting device to remove differential and bevel gear (28) from carrier (29). The weight of differential and bevel gear (28) is approximately 119 kg (262 lb).

Use Tooling (G) to remove bearing cone (30) from the differential. A suitable press with the bearing puller adapter that is listed in Tooling (G) may also be used for removing bearing cone (30).
