1 1 142-5867 Crankshaft Seal Do not separate the seal from the sleeve. Replace the seal if the seal is separated from the sleeve.
The sleeve of the front crankshaft seal should be flush with front face of crankshaft.
The seal driver should not contact the crankshaft seal inside diameter 177.80 0.25 mm (7.000 0.010 inch).
3 1 142-5868 Crankshaft Seal Do not separate the seal from the sleeve. Replace the seal if the seal is separated from the sleeve.
Installation depth of the rear crankshaft seal is 1.5 0.5 mm (0.06 0.02 inch).
The seal driver should not contact the crankshaft seal inside diameter 177.80 0.25 mm (7.000 0.010 inch).
The assembled installation depth should be checked with the crankshaft at maximum rearward position.
