Stop the engine, lower the bucket to the ground, move all control levers backward and forward to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Slowly loosen the cap to release any pressure in the hydraulic tank. Let the hydraulic oil become cool.
Install caps or plugs after lines, tubes or hoses are disconnected.1. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank. 2. Remove the cotter pin and pin (1) from the governor control rod. 3. Remove the cotter pin and pin (2) from the governor control rod. 4. Remove two nuts which hold cross shaft (3) to the engine firewall. 5. Remove bolts (4) and firewall (5) from the machine. 6. Remove the bolts and guard (7). Remove the bolts which hold ladder (6) to the machine. 7. Remove the bolts and fender (8) from the machine. 8. Disconnect line (9) at the hydraulic tank. Disconnect lines (10). 9. Make an identification of wires (11), (12) and (13), and disconnect them. 10. Remove spring (16) from governor control rod and frame.11. Remove bolts (14) from pedal assembly (15) and remove pedal assembly (15) as a unit from the machine. 12. Put a wood block (17) in position between front frame and dash as shown. 13. Put tooling (A) in position as shown.14. Fasten a hoist and install tooling (B). Remove the bolts which hold the hydraulic tank (18) to the machine. Make sure all hoses, wires, linkages and sheet metal are either removed or disconnected.15. Remove hydraulic tank (18) from the machine. The weight of the hydraulic tank is 250 lb. (113 kg). 16. Remove hydraulic lines (19) from the hydraulic tank. 17. Remove the bolts which hold bracket (20) and the hydraulic controls to tank (18). Remove bracket (20) and the hydraulic controls as a unit.Install Hydraulic Tank
Inspect all seals for damage or wear. Make a replacement if necessary. Put clean hydraulic oil on all seals. 1. Install hydraulic lines (1) to the hydraulic tank. 2. Put bracket (3) and the hydraulic controls in position on hydraulic tank (2). Install the bolts which hold bracket (3) and the hydraulic controls to tank (2). 3. Install tooling (A) as shown. Fasten a hoist and tooling (B) to hydraulic tank (2). Install tank (2) and the bolts which hold it to the machine.4. Remove the wood block from between the frame and dash. 5. Put pedal assembly (4) in position. Connect spring (6) to the frame and governor control rod (5). Install the bolts which hold pedal assembly (4) in place. 6. Connect wires (7) and (8). 7. Connect three hydraulic lines (9). 8. Install fender (10) and the bolts which hold it to the machine. 9. Install ladder (11) and the bolts which hold it to the machine.10. Put guard (12) in position and install the bolts. 11. Put firewall (13) in position and install the bolts which hold it to the hydraulic tank and fuel tank. 12. Put cross shaft assembly (14) in position. Install supports (15) in firewall
