Removal Procedure
Start By:
If necessary, remove the piston motor (drag conveyor). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Drag Conveyor) - Remove".
Remove the wheel (final drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel (Final Drive) - Remove and Install".

Loosen bolts (2) and (3).
Loosen nut (6) and turn bolt (5) counterclockwise in order to rotate final drive assembly (1) downward. Rotating final drive assembly (1) downward will relieve tension in chain (4).

Remove bolts (11) and plate (10).
Remove cotter pins (9) and side bar (8). Support chain (4) and remove connecting link (7).

Remove chain (4) from lower sprocket (12) and the upper sprocket. Installation Procedure

Install chain (4) to lower sprocket (12) and the upper sprocket. Support chain (4).

Bring ends of chain (4) together and install connecting link (7). Install side bar (8) and cotter pins (9).
Install plate (10) and bolts (11).

Turn bolt (5) clockwise in order to rotate final drive assembly (1) upward. Rotate final drive assembly (1) in order to tighten the tension on chain (4). Tighten nut (6).
Tighten bolts (3) and (2). End By:
Install the wheel (final drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel (Final Drive) - Remove and Install".
If necessary, install the piston motor (drag conveyor). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Drag Conveyor) - Install".
