33. Apply clean hydraulic oil on roller bearings (38) and (36). Install roller bearing (38) and roller (37) on cradle (34) as shown. Install roller bearing (36) and wire (35) on cradle (34) as shown. Make sure each roller bearing is seated properly. 34. Fasten each roller bearing to the cradle with a rubber band as shown. The rubber bands will hold the roller bearings in position during installation of the cradle in the pump housing.
Do not move roller bearings (36) and (38) out of position during installation of cradle (34) in the pump housing. If roller bearings (36) and (38) are not seated properly in outer races (39), the pump will not operate properly.
35. Carefully install cradle (34), with roller bearings (36) and (38), in the pump housing in its original position. Make sure roller (37) engages in the slot in the piston assembly of the seat adjuster group. Also, make sure wire (35) properly engages with the casing slot in the pump housing. 36. Use a pair of scissors to cut each rubber band. Slightly lift up on cradle (34), and slide each cut rubber band out of the pump housing.37. Check the position of the cradle in the outer races in the pump housing. Move the cradle back and forth by hand to be sure it is seated properly in the outer races. 38. Check the position of wire (35) through the opening in the pump housing. The wire should be centered. 39. Install slotted pin (33) in the opening in the pump housing. the slotted pin must engage with wire (35). 40. Install plug (32) in the pump housing. 41. Use Tool (F) to make sure cradle (34) is level in the pump housing. Measure the distance from the machined surface of the pump housing to the cradle on both sides. The distance should be approximately the same. Final adjustment is made after installation of the swing pump in the machine.42. Determine the Lift-Off Limitation Adjustment of the rotating group as follows: a. Place port plate (18) on a surface plate as shown. The flat side of the port plate should be against the surface plate. b. Install Tool (B) in the inside diameter of port plate (18) as shown. c. Place cylinder (24) in position on Tool (B) and port plate (18). Make sure the cylinder is seated properly on the alignment plug [Tool (B)] and the port plate. d. Make sure there are no shims or cup springs in retainer (25). Install Tool (C) in retainer (25) as shown. e. Place retainer (25), with Tool (C), in position on cylinder (24) as shown. f. Place retainer plate (23) in position on retainer (25) as shown. g. Bolt Tool (D) to Tool (E) as shown. h. Place the assembled tool into the splined bores of retainer (25), cylinder (24) and on retainer plate (23) as shown. Make sure the tool is properly seated in retainer (25), cylinder (24) and on retainer plate
