Illustration 1.View of Hydraulic Tank.2. Locate and remove clip (2) that secures the hydraulic tank vent hose (1) and another hose. Remove the hydraulic tank vent hose (1) from clip (2). Reinstall clip (2) to secure the remaining hose. See Illustration 1.
Illustration 2.View of hydraulic tank vent hose at the connection to the left side chain box3. Disconnect the hydraulic tank vent hose (1) at the connection to the left side chain box. Disconnect the vent hose by loosening the hose clamp (3) and removing the vent hose from the 5P-7175 Straight Nipple on the 124-2831 Breather (4). See Illustration 2.

When facing the front of the hydraulic tank and viewing the breather from above, orient the hydraulic tank breather (9) to the ten o'clock (approximate) position. In the ten o'clock position, the breather will point towards the hydraulic tank mounting bolt (10). See Illustration 3.Raise the hydraulic tank vent hose (1) above the hydraulic tank and reroute the hose down the right side of the tank. Secure the hydraulic tank vent hose (1) to the electrical harness (8) with cable strap (5). A slight kink in the hydraulic tank vent hose when the cab is lowered is acceptable.

Secure the hydraulic tank vent hose (1) to the electrical harness (8) with cable strap (6) and cable strap (7) in the locations shown in Illustration 4 and Illustration 5.6. Reconnect the hydraulic vent hose (1) to the 5P-7175 Straight Nipple on the 124-2831 Breather (4) using the hose clamp (3). See Illustration 2.7. Lower the cab.
