Information:

Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent possible injury, perform the procedure that follows before testing and adjusting the hydraulic system.
Personal injury or death can result from escaping fluid under pressure.Escaping fluid under pressure, even a very small pin-hole size leak, can penetrate body tissue and cause serious injury and possible death. If fluid is injected into your skin, it must be treated by a doctor familiar with this type of injury.Always use a board or cardboard when checking for a leak.
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from working machines and personnel. Lower the bucket to the ground. Stop the engine.
Permit only one operator on the machine.
Block the machine so that the tires are off the ground.
Place a barrier around the machine in order to keep personnel away from rotating machinery.
Move the joystick controls in all directions in order to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Also, press both sides of the auxiliary circuit control switch in order to release the pressure in the auxiliary lines.
Carefully loosen the cap on the hydraulic tank in order to release the pressure in the tank.
Make sure that all hydraulic pressure in the machine is released before attempting any adjustment.
Tighten the cap on the hydraulic tank.
The pressure in the system has now been released and lines or components can be removed.During the diagnosis of the hydraulic system and the hydrostatic system, remember that the correct oil flow and the correct pressure are necessary for the correct operation. The output of the pumps will increase with an increase in engine speed. The output of the pumps will decrease when engine speed is decreased. Oil pressure is caused by resistance to the flow of oil. When any test is performed on the hydraulic system and the hydrostatic system, the hydraulic oil must be at the normal temperature for operation. In order to increase the oil temperature, start the engine. Lift the arms and move the machine in the forward and reverse directions.
