(4) Do not park on a grade that exceeds 15 degrees. When possible, locate the trailer package on a firm, level area. If the parking area is not level, park or locate the trailer package across the grade, so that the trailer does not tend to roll downhill.Park so that the trailer package does not interfere with traffic.Disconnect the breakaway cable. Disconnect all other electrical connections.Engage the parking brake. To engage the parking brake, pull the lever outward and pull the lever to the right. Adjust the tension for the parking brake by turning the lever. To disengage the parking brake, pull the lever to the left and push the lever inward. Block the wheels or chock the wheels on both sides of each wheel. Unhook the safety chains.Lower the jack. Ensure that the jack is locked.Disconnect the trailer from the tow vehicle.
