1. Press fit the 3D-0053 Ball Bearing (2) into the 147-7131 Gear (1).
2. Tighten the locknut to
200 40 N m (148 30 lb ft).

75 5 N m (55 4 lb ft).    
5     1     8T-4910 Bolt     Torque to
75 5 N m (55 4 lb ft).    Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Drain the hydraulic oil into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".

Remove panel (1) .

Remove tube assembly (2) and disconnect hose assembly (3) .

Remove bolts (4), bolts (5), and the spacers in order to disconnect bracket (6) .

Disconnect hose assembly (7) .

Remove bolt (9) in order to disconnect bracket (10) .

Disconnect oil fill tube (12) from block (11). Place oil fill tube (12) aside.

Remove bolts (13), bolt (15), and piston pump (14) .Installation Procedure
Install piston pump (14) in the reverse order of removal.
