Personal injury or death can result from a brake malfunction. Do not operate the machine if the brake was applied due to a malfunction of the air system or the brake.Correct any problem before attempting to operate the machine.
Chock the wheels in order to keep the machine from rolling when the parking brake is released.

Note: The manual brake release is located by the axle with the gearbox.

Turn the screw clockwise in order to release the parking brake. Use a 12 mm (0.50 inch)hex head wrench in order to release the parking brake.Note: Inadvertent engagement of the parking brake could be caused by a leaking problem inside the system. Turn the screw counterclockwise until the screw stops at the retaining ring. Then rotate the screw clockwise until the parking brake stops.
The machine can now be towed.
