A 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound -
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install O-ring seal (9) on oil cooler bonnet (10). Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal.
Install integral seal (12) on oil cooler bonnet (10). Position oil cooler bonnet (10) on the water pump and install bolts (11).
Install O-ring seals (7) on the engine oil filter base.
Slide core assembly (6) toward the front of the engine. Rotate the core assembly into position. Install bolts (8).

Install O-ring seal (5) on bonnet (4). Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal. Place integral seal (2) and bonnet (4) in position. Install bolts (3).
Connect hose assembly (1) to bonnet (4).
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for more information.
