6. Remove the rear hose guards. Cross the hoses at the bulkhead as shown in Image 1.5.1, "Hose Configuration After Rework," and re-assemble using (2) 6V-8398 o-rings.

7. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for the left hand side.
8. The new angle cylinder has a larger diameter piston. As a result, the angle circuit line relief setting has been reduced. The existing line reliefs must be replaced. Perform the "LINE RELIEF REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE" below.
9. Start the machine, purge the hydraulic system of air, and check the system for leaks and proper operation. Add hydraulic oil to the tank as necessary.
10. Re-assemble the right front 444-3536 guard from Step 2 using a (1) 461-5660 and (1)461-5658 clamp, (2) 8T-4184 Bolts, (4) 8T-4223 Washers, and (2) 329-3356 Nuts as shown in Image 1.8.1. Attach the guard using the (4) 8T-4139, and (4) 8T-4223 Washers that were saved from Step 2. Refer to Image 1.8.2. Repeat this step for the left hand side. Note: The 461-5660 and 461-5658 clamp bolts should be on the inboard side on both cylinders to avoid interference with the track shoes.

LINE RELIEF REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1. Remove the operator seat, right hand armrest, and platform access panels to gain access to the angle section of the hydraulic valve stack. Refer to Image 1.9.1.
Image1.9.1
2. Temporarily remove the right and left angle solenoid valve housings to gain access to the line relief valves. The wiring harness solenoid tags can be used to help identify the solenoids. Refer to Images 1.10.1, 1.10.2, and 1.10.3. Replace the existing 269-0858 Valve Groups with 464-4067 Valve Groups. Tighten the valve groups to 145 +/- 15 Nm. Re-assemble the solenoid valve housings, access panels, operator seat, and armrest.

PITCH LINK REWORK PROCEDURE
1. Perform this rework procedure if the machine does not have the new 457-3639 pitch link adjustment wrench or does not have a previously modified 381-1883 adjustment wrench. Refer to Image 1.11.1 to aid in the identification of the equipment configuration.
2. Remove the 381-1883 Plate Assembly (pitch link adjustment wrench) from the pitch link. Position the 7X-7729 Washer and weld it to the wrench as shown in Illustration 1.11.2. Reassemble the wrench as shown in Illustration 1.11.3. The pitch of the blade may have to be adjusted rearward to pin the modified wrench to the pitch link. Grease the pitch link at all four fittings.
