Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.

Use two suitable lifting devices and a hoist to secure muffler (1) .
Install the muffler to the engine, as shown.

Remove the bolt and washer (2) from the muffler.
Loosen nut (3) from the muffler.

Remove two bolts and two washer (4) from the bracket.
Remove the muffler from the engine.Installation Procedure

Use two suitable lifting devices and a hoist to secure muffler (1) into position.

Install washers and bolts (4) to the bracket.

Tighten the washer and nut (3) to the muffler.
Install the washer and bolt (2) to the muffler.
Remove two suitable lifting devices and a hoist away from muffler (1) .End By: Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
