Propel Fault Fuel Shutdown
Transmission ECM (8) monitors the condition of the circuit to the propel solenoids. The circuit condition transfers to machine ECM (23) through the CAN. A short to battery in the circuit to any propel solenoid for more than 200 ms prompts a shutdown request from the machine ECM. The shutdown request is sent to the engine ECM. If the engine is not running when the short to battery is detected, the machine ECM locks out the starter. In this case, the engine cannot be started.Uncommanded Machine Movement Logic
The machine is programmed with uncommanded machine movement logic. This logic stops machine propel when the actual machine speed is greater than the desired machine speed.Transmission ECM (8) evaluates the magnitude and duration of the deviation between the desired machine speed and the actual machine speed. The ECM invokes uncommanded machine movement logic when the accumulated error of these parameters reaches a threshold. The greater the magnitude of the speed deviation, the shorter the required duration necessary for transmission ECM (8) to invoke the logic. Direction differences create the greatest magnitude of speed deviation. Therefore, high speed deviations result in quicker responses. Low speed deviations allow the machine to operate for a longer period before the transmission ECM stops machine propel.Propel Override Circuit

Voltage transfers from contact "2" of propel resistor "2" (7) to contact "2" of left propel override switch (3) . Voltage at contact "2" of right propel override switch (2) is used to power right propel solenoids (5) and (16) . Voltage at contact "2" of left propel override switch (3) is used to power left propel solenoids (4) and (15) . Propel resistors (6) and (7) limit the current available to energize the propel solenoids, and therefore, machine speed is limited during override operation. Voltage at contact "5" of each propel override switch is used to power parking brake solenoid (8) . When left propel override switch (3) is in the REVERSE position, the circuit across contact "2" and contact "3" of the switch is closed. In this case, current
