Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the storage box. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Storage Box and Covers (Cab) - Remove and Install".

Remove bolt (3) from the upper air duct (2).
Remove hose (4) from the upper air duct (2).
Peel back rubber gaskets (1) on each side of the upper air duct (2). Remove upper air duct (2).

Disconnect harness assembly (5) from damper motors. Note: Mark the harness assembly for assembly purposes.

Remove bolts (7) from case assembly (6). Remove case assembly (6).

Remove bolt (10). Reposition the air temperature sensor.
Remove eight screws (9). Remove bolts (11).
Remove blower housing (8). Remove the orifice plates (12). Note: Mark the blower housing in order to indicate the blower housing's orientation for installation purposes.Note: Mark the orifice plates in order to indicate the plate's orientation for installation purposes.

Remove cable strap (14).
Disconnect harness assembly (15).
Remove blower motor (13). Note: Mark the rotation of the blower motor for installation purposes.

Remove clip (16).
Remove blower wheel (17).
Repeat the following Steps 12 through 13 in order to remove the other blower wheel. Installation Procedure
Illustration 7 g00857869Note: Make sure that the rotation arrow on the blower wheel matches the rotation on the blower motor.
Install blower wheel (17).
Install clip (16).
Repeat the following Steps 1 through 2 in order to install the other blower wheel.

Install blower motor (13).
Connect harness assembly (15).
Install cable strap (14).
Illustration 9 g00857750Note: Make sure that the orifice plates and the blower housing are installed with the correct orientation.
Install the orifice plates (12). Install blower housing (8).
Install bolts (11). Install eight screws (9).
Position the air temperature sensor. Install bolt (10).

Install case assembly (6). Install bolts (7) to case assembly (6).

Connect harness assembly (5) to the correct damper motors.

Install upper air duct (2).
Reattach rubber gaskets (1) on each side of the upper air duct (2).
Install hose (4) to the upper air duct (2).
Install bolt (3) to the upper air duct (2). End By:
Install the storage box. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Storage Box and Covers (Cab) - Remove and Install".
