ACTION REQUIRED
If an error code "Intake Air Cleaner Filter plugged" is shown without air filter choking, first check the condition of the air filter. If no problem is found with the filter element, replace the switch with a new switch and install both a new O-ring and a new shim.
If no error code is shown, install both a new O-ring and a new shim.
In either case, refer to the attached Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. If the 276-4836 Pressure Switch has failed, first check for air filter choking. If no problem is found, replace the 276-4836 Pressure Switch, 4J-7533 O-ring, and the 471-6001 Shim.
2. If the 276-4836 Pressure Switch has not failed, reassemble the 276-4836 Pressure Switch with the 4J-7533 O-ring and the 471-6001 Shim.
3. Turn the assembly 1/4 rotations after hand tight to shim contact or tighten to a specified torque of 2.25 +/- 0.25 N.m.
4. Confirm shim contact by visual inspection. First, O-ring contact with cleaner thread, and then switch contact with shim.
5. Before installation of the switch to the air cleaner, install the O-ring on to the bottom of the switch thread without any clearance, and without pinching the filter between the O-ring and the bottom of switch.
