826C (87X) CompactorsDescription of Change: The material used for production and service of brake piston seals, in the models listed, has been changed to improve their low temperature performance. The viton seals tend to take a permanent set in low temperatures, resulting in brake oil leakage. The saturated nitrile seals will not have this problem. Adaptable To: In the 3V-2683 Service Brake Group, the 7V-9814 Seal has been replaced by a 9U-2918 Seal and the 7V-9815 Seal has been replaced by a 9U-2919 Seal. This change is effective with 980F (8CJ1341, 3HK1133) Wheel Loaders, 824C (85X1647) Wheel Tractors, 825C (86X1103) and 826C (87X1695) Compactors. This change is also adaptable to all 980C, earlier 980F, 824C, 825C and 826C models.
