Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tool (A) in order to install the camshaft bearing in the cylinder block.Note: A bearing is installed in the cylinder block for the number one journal of the camshaft.
Install the camshaft bearing (1) in the cylinder block. Ensure that the oil holes in the camshaft bearing are aligned with the oil holes in the cylinder block.
Perform a check of the camshaft bearing in six places in order to ensure that the diameter of the bearing is correct. Refer to Specification, "Camshaft" for more information.End By: Install the camshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Install".
