The Special Instruction, REHS1228 contains information for installing the open circuit oil breather. The Open Circuit Oil Breather (Engine Kit) is designed for machines as an air management system for the engine. The kit is capable of separating oil from the blowby gases that are expelled from the crankcase ventilation valve. The oil that is separated is drained into the oil pan.Note: The Open Circuit Oil Breather is designed for low emission engines as an open circuit system. The Open Circuit Oil Breather should never be modified to a closed circuit system. The Special Instruction, REHS1228 is available through the normal literature distribution system.
