Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the heating and air conditioning unit. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heating and Air Conditioning Unit - Remove". Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and (2).

Remove bolts (3).

Separate case (4) from case (5).

Remove clips (6), (7), and (8).

Disconnect coolant temperature sensor (9).

Remove bolts (10) and place cover assembly (11) aside.
