When reporting the repair, use "PI30787" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI30787" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code. The information supplied in this serviceletter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Donot perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the terminationdate without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

Some 1994611/">199-4611 Washers assembled on the385B, 385B L, and 5090B Excavators may not have the correct material specification.The stock of the 1994611/">199-4611 Washer has been removed per Service Letter PI70096.An acceptable washer will have a F, M, ME, N, or P marked on one face ofthe washer. There is a final drive on the left side of the machine andon the right side of the machine. Both final drives must be reworked bychanging the washers.OWNER NOTIFICATION
