A random problem can cause a "step" or "sticky" feeling while trying to move from ON to START.
A tooling change has been made with a date code 182 (18th week of 1992). This date is stamped into the face of the switch contact housing beside the tumbler body. Another improvement is effective with the date code 322 which changes the mechanical detent between ON and START so it feels less severe.
