Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble later. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Insert shaft (7) through idler (6) .
Install bushings (5) on shaft (7) .
Install O-rings (4) on shaft (7) .
Install seals (3) in idler (6) .
Reposition Idler (6) . Use Tooling (A) to install 80 cc (4.9 cubic inch) of SAE 30 oil into the idler (6) .
Repeat Steps 1 through 7 for the other side of the front idler.
Install supports (2) to the idler with washers and bolts (1) . Tighten the bolts.End By: Install the front idler and the track adjuster. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler and Track Adjuster - Install".
