Information:

Clean the interior mating surfaces of the connector (terminals, seals, insulators) with a cotton swab and denatured alcohol.Note: Do not use a solvent-type cleaner, as this has been found to damage some connector materials.Ensure that the mating surfaces are dry and clean before reattaching the connector. If dirt or corrosion cannot be removed, the connector and/or terminals must be replaced.Note: To secure the connector, tighten the coupling nut to 9.3 0.3 N m (82.3 2.7 lb in) in clockwise direction.
Install lockwire (11) through the hole on coupling nut and next hole in clockwise direction on the connector back shell as shown in Illustration 4. Twist wire using 314-8478 Pliers to prevent connector collar from backing off.Refer to Special Instruction, M0077044, "Instructions to Install Connector Lockwires" for detailed instructions.
