Torque to 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).
5 6 114-1541 Dowel Pin Apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the outer diameter and inner diameter of the mating parts of the dowel pin.
6 2 279-0344 Tapered Roller Bearing As Apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the outer diameter and inner diameter of the mating parts of the taper roller bearing assembly.
7 1 255-2272 Duo-Cone Seal Gp During assembly, rubber toric seals and all contact surfaces must be clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of oil film on the mating surfaces of the metal seals before assembly. Make sure that the metal seals are assembled correctly in the bore. The rubber toric seals should not bulge and the rubber toric seals must not be twisted.
8 7 095-0891 Spring Pin After installation of the spring pins create stake marks lightly near the hole of the spring pins.
D - - Distance from edge of the pin hole to stake mark is 2.25 0.75 mm (0.089 0.030 inch).
9 As required, use the following plates in order to adjust the clearance (E) from 1.0 to 2.0 mm (0.04 to 0.08 inch):
1 094-0577 Plate Thickness is 7.0 0.2 mm (0.28 0.01 inch).
1 094-0578 Plate Thickness is 8.0 0.2 mm (0.31 0.01 inch).
1 094-0579 Plate Thickness is 9.0 0.2 mm (0.35 0.01 inch).
1 094-0580 Plate Thickness is 10.0 0.2 mm (0.39 0.01 inch)
10 2 3E-2338 Pipe Plug Torque to 80 10 N m (59 7 lb ft).
13 As required, use the following shims. If two shims are used, place the thinnest shim next to the coupling gear:
1 267-6809 Shim Thickness is 0.75 mm (0.030 inch).
1 7Y-1056 Shim Thickness is 0.80 mm (0.031 inch).
1 267-6810 Shim Thickness is 0.85 mm (0.033 inch).
1 267-6811 Shim Thickness is 0.90 mm (0.035 inch).
1 267-6812 Shim Thickness is 0.95 mm (0.037 inch).
1 7Y-1057 Shim Thickness is 1.0 mm (0.04 inch).
1 267-6813 Shim Thickness is 1.2 mm (0.05 inch).
1 267-6814 Shim Thickness is 1.4 mm (0.06 inch).
1 267-6815 Shim Thickness is 1.8 mm (0.07 inch).
1 267-6816 Shim Thickness is 2.0 mm (0.08 inch).

14 10 6V-8133 Bolt Before assembly, clean the contact surfaces of the bolts, washers, and tightened parts in order to remove the protective coating and oil. Apply blue Loctite 242 to the threads. The threads must be cleaned dry before applying the sealant.
