(6) Connecting rod nutUse the following procedure to tighten the connecting rod nut :
Use new engine oil to lubricate the bolt threads and the seating faces between the cap and the nut before assembly.
Tighten the connecting rod nuts.Torque for nuts ... 82 8 N m (60 6 lb ft)
Place a mark on each nut and on the end of each bolt. Refer to Illustration 3.
