This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI31231" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI31231" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The EMCP3 Control, Part Numbers 227-5801 and 227-5802, on certain 3406C, 3500B, 3500C, C-18, C32, C27, C15, C18, C9 Generator Sets require software updates. There exists a possibility of an EMCP reset due to message traffic via the CAN2 datalink. The EMCP 3 controls may reset which will cause it to change from a RUN or AUTO state to the STOP state.
