Remove the brake accumulators. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Brake Accumulator - Remove".
The accumulator is filled with dry nitrogen. Sudden release of nitrogen pressure can cause personal injury.To avoid personal injury, release the nitrogen pressure from the accumulator before disassembly.
Release the pressure from the accumulators.

Remove valve assembly (1) and the washer from brake accumulator (4).
Remove the bolt, nut (2) and the two washers from clamp assembly (3). Remove the clamp assembly from the brake accumulators.

Use Tooling (A) to remove head (5) from the brake accumulator.

Remove backup ring (6) and O-ring seal (7) from the head.

Use Tooling (B) to remove piston (8) from the brake accumulator. Remove wear ring (9) and seal assembly (10) from piston (8).
