Information:

1. Remove bolts (1) and washer (2) from the end of the roller shaft. 2. Install tooling (A) between the bowl and the end of the roller shaft as shown. 3. Install a block of wood (3) on the opposite side of the elevator frame between the elevator frame and the bowl. Block (3) is approximately 4" x 4" x 10" (10.2 x 10.2 x 25.4 cm). The block of wood will prevent movement of the elevator frame while the roller is pushed out of the frame.
Make sure the ends of the block are flat against the surfaces of the elevator frame and the scraper bowl.
4. Fasten a hoist to elevator chain roller (4). Use tooling (A) to push the roller out of the elevator frame. Weight of the roller is 73 lb. (33 kg).Install Elevator Chain Rollers
1. Fasten a hoist and put the elevator chain roller in position on the elevator frame with dowels (1) in alignment with the dowel holes in the elevator frame. 2. Install washer (2) and bolts (3) that hold the roller in place.Disassemble Elevator Chain Rollers
start by:a) remove elevator chain rollers 1. Remove bolts (1) and cover (2). 2. Remove lockwire, bolts and washer (3). 3. Turn roller over and remove retainer assembly (4).4. Remove the Duo-Cone seal from the retainer and roller. 5. Use two 3/8"-16 NC bolts to remove support assembly (5). 6. Install tooling (A) as shown and remove the roller assembly and bearing cone from the roller shaft. 7. Use a hammer and soft punch to remove the bearing cups from the roller. 8. Install tooling (B) as shown and remove the bearing cone from the roller shaft.Assemble Elevator Chain Rollers
1. Heat the bearing cone in oil to a maximum temperature of 275°F (135°C) and install on the roller shaft.2. Lower the temperature of the bearing cups and install them in the roller.3. Install the roller shaft in the roller.4. Check the O-ring seal on the Duo-Cone seal support and make a replacement if necessary. Put clean oil on the O-ring seal. Install the support in the roller. 5. Install the O-ring seal in retainer (1). Put clean oil on the O-ring seal. The rubber seals and all surfaces that make contact with the seals must be clean and dry. After installation of the seals, put oil on the contact surfaces of the metal seals. 6. Use tool (A) to install the Duo-Cone seal in retainer (1) and roller (2).7. Install the retainer on the roller shaft. 8. Turn the roller over. Heat bearing (3) to a maximum temperature of 275°F (135°C) and install on the roller shaft. 9. Install the retainer, bolts and lockwire.10. Install the cover and fill the roller with clean oil to the correct level. Tighten the plug to a torque of 125 15 lb.ft. (170 20 N m).end by:a) install elevator chain rollers
