A Special Instruction, REHS1424, "Troubleshooting Failures of the Exhaust Tube on 3408E and 3412E Engines" is available.This instruction describes the procedure to troubleshoot elevated exhaust temperatures in some 3408E and 3412E Engines. Use this instruction for troubleshooting the following models: 24H Motor Grader, 988F Series II Wheel Loader, 631E Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper, 633E Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper and 637E Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper.The Special Instruction, REHS1424, "Troubleshooting Failures of the Exhaust Tube on 3408E and 3412E Engines" can be obtained through the normal literature ordering channels.
