1. Fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to the top of the roll-over protective structure (1) 2. Remove fourteen bolts (2) that hold floor plate (3) in place. Remove floor plate (3). Remove seat (4). To remove cover (6), remove two bolts (7) [hidden] and one nut (5) [hidden].3. Remove cover (6) from both sides of the machine. 4. Remove one bolt (8).5. Remove two bolts (10) and plate (9). Perform Steps 3 through 5 on the other side of the machine. 6. Remove bolt (11), two bolts (13) [hidden] and plate (12) from the front of the the roll-over protective structure on each side.7. Remove roll-over protective structure (1) from the machine. This is the top half of the roll-over protective structure. The weight of the roll-over protective structure is 300 kg (660 lb). When removing the engine, transmission and transfer gears, the lower half of the roll-over protective structure must be removed. The following steps must be performed. 8. Remove four bolts (14) that hold door (15) in place.9. Remove door (15).10. Remove the door on the opposite side in the same manner. 11. Fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to lower half (16) of the roll-over protective structure.12. Remove bolt (17) and two bolts (18) [that are hidden] from both sides of the machine. Bolts (18) hold panel (20) in place.13. Remove four bolts (19) that holds the lower half of the roll-over protective structure. Remove these bolts from both sides of the machine.14. Remove lower half (16) of the roll-over protective structure and panel (20) as a unit. Weight of the lowe half is 150 kg (330 lb).Install ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure)
1. Fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to lower half (16) of the roll-over protective structure and panel (20). Put this unit in position on the machine.2. Install four bolts (19) that hold the lower half of the roll-over protective structure in position on both sides. Tighten bolts (19) to a torque of 570 80 N m (420 60 lb ft).3. Install two bolts (18) and bolt (17). Bolts (18) hold panel (20) in place. Tighten bolt (17) to a torque of 570 80 N m (420 60 lb ft).4. Remove tooling (A) and the hoist from lower half (16) of the roll-over protective structure. 5. Install door (15) with bolts (14) that hold the door in place.6. Install the door on the opposite side in the same manner. 7. Install roll-over protective structure (1) on the machine. This is the top half of the roll-over protective structure.8. Install plate (12), two bolts (13) and bolt (11) on the front of the roll-over protective structure on each side. Tighten bolts (13) to a torque of 150
