Route the remaining length of harness along the lift arm toward the rear of the machine. Secure the harness to the tube and hose that is mounted on the lift arm.Note: For "vertical lift" machines, route harness along top of lift arm. Transition to tube then hose to the rear of machine. Secure with 15 Cable Straps (1), 3 Cable Straps (10), and 1 Dual Cable Strap (5). Follow harness route and strapping points in Illustrations 2 and 3.Note: For "radial lift" machines, route harness along bottom of lift arm. Follow tube and hose and through frame cavity at rear of machine. Gather slack and strap inside frame cavity as shown in Illustration 5. Secure with 11 Cable Straps (1) and 1 Dual Cable Strap (5). Follow harness route and strapping points in Illustrations 4 and 5.
Connect work tool harness to connector P-C40 on platform harness and secure. Refer to Illustration 3 for "vertical lift" machines and Illustration 5 for "radial lift" machines. Refer to Table 3 for connector.

(2) Rocker Switch
Install the Rocker Switch (2) for auxiliary electrical control. Install rocker switch in the left control panel. Refer to Illustration 6.Note: Be sure to install the Gasket that is provided with the rocker switch.Note: Rocker switch (2) is installed in connector L-C5 of the Panel Harness As. Refer to Table 4.

Replace the left control handle with the new control handle. For basic instructions for replacing the control handle, refer to the Disassembly and Assembly procedures for the pilot operated hydraulic control that are provided in the Disassembly & Assembly, UENR0252, "216B3, 226B3, 236B3, 242B3, and 252B3 Skid Steer Loaders 247B3 and 257B3 Multi Terrain Loaders and 259B3 Compact Track Loader".
Connect the harness connector for the control handle to the 12-pin connector P-C37 on the lower platform harness. Refer to Table 5.
