After the engine has operated at low idle for 5 minutes, move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.

Unhook latch (8) at the rear of the engine compartment, and open engine hood (9).

Move hood support bracket (10) to support engine hood (9).

Remove three bolts (11) and washers. Remove right side panel (12).

Remove three bolts (13) and washers. Remove left side panel (14).

Disconnect drum brake supply hose assembly (15) from tee (16) at the "X7" port on the propel pump. Hand tighten Tool (E) on the hose assembly, then loosen the plug one-half turn to allow chamber venting. Use Tool (D) to cap the tee.
Disconnect axle brake supply hose assembly (17) from tee (16) at the "X7" port on the propel pump. Hand tighten Tool (E) on the hose assembly, then loosen the plug one-half turn to allow chamber venting. Use Tool (D) to cap the tee.

Disconnect hose assembly "DF" (18) from the test block. Use Tool (E) to plug the hose. Use Tool (D) to cap the port.
Disconnect hose assembly "DR" (19) from the test block. Use Tool (E) to plug the hose. Use Tool (D) to cap the port.

Connect Tool (A2) to each of the following pressure taps in the test block:
Forward pressure tap "AF" (20) for the drum pump
Reverse pressure tap "AR" (21) for the axle pump.Test Procedure

Move engine start switch (7) into the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Use throttle switch (3) to operate the engine at high idle.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on display (22). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches the minimum test temperature given in the Specifications section.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.Note: the machine may move slightly during the next two steps due to flexing of the isolation mounts.
Move propel lever (1) slowly forward until the peak pressure is registered at forward pressure tap "AF" (20). Record the forward pressure. The pressure should be within the range given in the Specifications section.
Move propel lever (1) slowly to the rear until the peak pressure is registered at reverse pressure tap "AR" (21). Record the reverse pressure. The pressure should be within the range given in the Specifications section.
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move throttle control switch (3) to the LOW-IDLE position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Allow the engine to run for 5 minutes. Move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.
If either pressure is outside the specified range, perform the "Adjustment Procedure". If the pressures are inside the specified range, go to Step 12.
Use throttle switch (3) to operate the engine at low idle.
Move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.
Remove the tooling from the "AF" pressure tap and the "AR" pressure tap in the manifold. Replace the caps.
Remove the tooling and connect hose assembly "DF" to the manifold
Remove the tooling and connect hose assembly "DR"
