D 1P-0510 Driver Gp 1 Note: Make sure that the boom pin bore and the bucket pin bores are thoroughly clean prior to installation of the bucket. Note: Check the condition of the seals and the bearings. If the seals or bearings are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.Note: Prior to installing bearings (19), check that the bore is free of paint and grease.

Lower the temperature of bearings (10). Use Tooling (D) in order to install bearings (10) and seals (9). Install bearings (10) with bearing identification outward.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to lift boom (4) evenly. The weight of boom (4) is approximately 536 kg (1182 lb). Put tension on the lifting device.
Position boom (4) onto the machine.
Apply Tooling (C) to pin assembly (8). Position shims (5) and install pin assembly (8). Adjust lateral clearance of shims (5) to a maximum distance of 1.00 mm (0.040 inch).
Install washer (7) and bolt (6). Remove all suitable lifting devices.

Connect all hose assemblies (1), all hose assemblies (2), and hose assemblies (3).

Release the vacuum on the hydraulic system. Remove Tooling (B) and the air supply hose from the hydraulic tank . End By:
Install the boom cylinder.
Install the stick cylinder.
Install the stick.
