When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
Certain 162-0782 Pressure Switch Assemblies may have the wrong size of pin inside the switch assembly. This may cause a failure of the switch.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect and possibly remove 162-0782 Pressure Switch Assemblies from dealer parts stock.
If a 162-0782 Pressure Switch Assembly has a date code after 178R12 (178th day of the year 2012, June 26), mark the package to indicate that the part has been inspected according to this program and return the part to dealer parts stock.
If a 162-0782 Pressure Switch Assembly has a date code 178R12, or before 178R12 (178th day of the year 2012, June 26), remove the part from dealer parts stock.
