Difference Between Power Shift Pressure Control and Negative Flow Pressure Control
The flow rate control system for 312F GC and 313F GC Hydraulic Excavators uses power shift electrical proportional reducing valve (EPRV) to control the flow rate for the selected tool. The following are characteristics of a power shift pressure control system.
Power shift pressure is maintained to be constant.
Flow rate changes when pump load pressure changes.
Flow rate may fluctuate. For other F series Hydraulic Excavators, flow rate control system uses negative flow pressure control. Negative flow pressure control uses flow rate to control the electrical proportional reducing valve (EPRV). The following are characteristics of negative flow pressure control system.
Flow rate is constant, even when pump load pressure changes.
