Installation Procedure

For each of the links, install bearing (8) and install retaining rings (7). Manually grease the bearing prior to installation of the link.

Attach a suitable lifting device to link assembly (5). The weight of link assembly (5) is approximately 417 kg (919 lb).
Position link assembly (5).
Attach a suitable lifting device to pins (6). The weight of pin (6) is approximately 77 kg (170 lb).
Install pins (6). Remove the suitable lifting device.

Install cap (4).

Install blocks (2) and connect grease hose (1).
Reposition the hose assembly and install clip (3).
Repeat Steps 2 through 8 for the remaining link assemblies.End By:
Install the rear tire. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim (Rear) - Install".
Install the truck body retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install"
