1 8 317-2122 Band Clamp Use the following procedure to tighten the clamp assemblies:
Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize to threads, the bearing surfaces, and inside diameter of the clamp assemblies.
1. Tighten the clamp assemblies to 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
2. Gently hit around the clamp assemblies with a soft hammer.
3. Again, tighten the clamp assemblies to 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
2 4 293-5922 Bellows Ensure that the bellows are installed in the flow direction as indicated by an arrow on the bellows.
