Remove the engine oil coolers.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Tooling (B) provides a means for draining the oil from the oil filter housing.
Drain the oil from the oil filter housings by opening the drain valves.

Install Tooling (A). Use a suitable lifting device to remove oil filter housings (1).

Remove three bolts (2) and the clamps.

Remove bolt (3) and the clamp.
Disconnect harness assembly (4).

Disconnect two tube assemblies (6).
Remove seven bolts (5).

Remove bracket (7) for clearance when you remove oil filter housings (1).
Ensure that all the tubes and hose assemblies have been disconnected from the oil filter housings.
Remove oil filter housings (1). The oil filter housing weighs approximately 225 kg (496 lb).
