Rework Procedure
1. Remove 8X-7860 Input Shaft Assembly from rear pump drive by sliding it out of the gear splines.2. Enlarge the hole at the end of 8X-7860 Shaft to 26.0 mm (1.02 in) diameter and 8.0 mm (.31 in) deep minimum.3. Drill 12.20 mm (.480 in) diameter 20.5 mm (.81 in) deep hole to accommodate plug threads.4. Rework bottom surface of hole to accommodate No. 6 port.5. Tap 9/16-18-2B thread 12.7 mm (.50 in) deep. Clean shaft before beginning assembly procedure.6. Install 9S-8004 Plug and 3J-1907 O-Ring seal in the end of the shaft.7. Replace 8X-7860 Shaft into rear pump drive.
