Install two suitable forcing screws (38) into cover (39). Install cribbing and Tooling (E) below the upper hitch pin.
Use Tooling (E) and suitable forcing screws (38) to remove the upper hitch pin.

Remove bolts (40), the washers, bolts (41), the washers, plate (42), and shim pack (43) from the bottom hitch.

Attach a lift truck and suitable chain to the grapple, as shown. Install cribbing between the grapple and the lift truck.Note: The cribbing will protect the hydraulic hoses from damage.
Use the lift truck to separate the rear frame of the machine from the front frame.
