Some 7W8412 Valve Assemblies in parts stock may not be the correct size. The valve assemblies are used in the fuel transfer pump.
Action Required
Check the outside diameter of all 7W8412 Valve Assemblies in parts stock. Remove all 7W8412 Valve Assemblies with an outside diameter less than 25.400 mm (1.0000") from parts stock.
Service Claim Allowances
Submit one claim for all 7W8412 Valve Assemblies removed from parts stock.
Parts Disposition
U.S. and Canadian Dealers Return all 7W8412 Valve Assemblies that are removed from parts stock and a copy of the claim to: Caterpillar Inc.
