Note: Before assembly, lubricate the bearing surfaces and the threads of the bolts, threads of the locknuts and the threads of the plugs with 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound. (1) Before assembly, lubricate the threads of the pipe plugs with 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound. (2) Tighten diagonally opposite bolts simultaneously to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).

Use the following procedure to tighten the nuts for the V-band clamps (5):
Tighten the nuts to 6.5 2.0 N m (57.5 17.7 lb in).
After the engine has been tested, again tighten the nuts to 6.5 2.0 N m (57.5 17.7 lb in).
