Move the transmission direction and speed control to the NEUTRAL position.
Unlock the steering column. Move the steering column to the desired position and lock the steering column.

Engage the parking and secondary brake.
Move the apron control and the ejector control to the HOLD position.
Turn the engine start switch key in order to start the engine. Release the engine start switch key when the engine starts.Scraper Engine

Start the scraper engine before moving the machine. This is necessary to provide lubrication to the scraper transmission.Transmission damage can result if the machine is moved with the scraper engine stopped.
Note: The tractor engine must be started before the engine for the scraper will start.
Turn the engine start switch clockwise in order to start the engine.
